The aim of our activity is the development of a special X-ray scanning device for a high precision survey of the SCT detector.
This survey will be based on the direction of X-rays precisely defined by linear or rotary stages and the signals measured in the SCT modules. The project is divided into three steps, a one-dimensional test facility, XTomo1D, a two-dimensional test- and calibration stand, XTomo2D, both leading to a full three-dimensional survey machine XTomo3D for the ATLAS SCT.
