Survey of Research Interests
• Search for new phenomena:
• Data-driven background estimate in events involving high energetic jets and large amount of Etmiss
• Model-independent searches in lepton+jets+Etmiss final states (supersymmetry, leptoquarks with $\beta$>0, Universal Extra Dimensions) using W/Z+jets events
• Monojet searches and test of Large Extra Dimension models (ADD scenario)
• Model-independent searches for new physics in Dijet+Etmiss final states (e.g. supersymmetry non-Msugra, leptoquark $\beta$=0, littlest Higgs models)
• Standard Model Physics:
• Higher order perturbative QCD corrections in W/Z+jets events
• Dependence of physics predictions on the choice of renormalization and factorization scales
• Jets performance in W/Z+jets events
• Soft QCD effects via the study of the kinematic of electroweak massive vector bosons
• Phenomenological studies:
• Toplogical characterization of new physics (eg OSET)
• Large Extra Dimension scenario with supersymmetry in the bulk (SLED)
• Dimensioless coupling to extra dimensional (bulk) scalars
• Universal Extra Dimension scenario embeded in Large Extra Dimensions
