Hello, my name is Bilge Demirköz. I am a CERN research fellow. I used to be a physics graduate student at Oxford University and this is my old website. My new website is available here .
I am originally from Istanbul, Turkey. After graduating from my high school, Robert College of Istanbul, I went to MIT and did my bachelor's in physics with minors in music and math and followed that up with master's degree in particle physics. I used to work on the Alpha Magnetic Spectrometer AMS project, which is designed to be installed on the ISS. I did my PhD at Oxford University, working at CERNon ATLAS Semi-Conductor Tracker (SCT). I am now a research fellow working on the ATLAS High Level Trigger. I carried the Olympic flame on July 6th, 2004 in Uskudar, Istanbul... Here is a photo and an article.
