Introduction

As explained in section 6.2.2, its better to use the Bourne (sh) shell rather than the C (csh) shell were possible, but it isn't always possible. If you prefer to use the C or the derived T shell then you will have to use C shell programming at least for

• Your .login and .cshrc files
• Any script you source to define your environment

so in this section we provide a set sh and equivalent csh script examples.
