You can search for files to open in the Open dialog box (click Open on the File menu). By clicking Tools and the Search... you can search by file name, type, date last modified, text in the file, or the file properties. To help find the file you are searching for you can view the files in different ways. In the Open dialog box there are four buttons which enable you to view files as a list, with details, with properties or to preview them.
