Newer accounts as of 2014 will use the windows Active Directory so should change their password on a windows system. Existing users with separate PP Linux account can use the yppasswd command.
You first have to type the old password (to defeat anyone who happens to find your terminal while you are away) and then the new password twice (to make sure you got it right).
