One of the first things you will want to do is to change your
password. The Linux systems will be using the Windows username and apssord from 2014.
- Windows
- At any time press the key combination ALT+Ctrl+DEL to open a window
and form it choose Change Password.
Changing the password on one PC, changes it for all PCs.
- UNIX
- For existing users who are using a separate Linux username /password. Use the command:-
yppasswd
In each case you have to give your new password twice as passwords are not
displayed and it would be easy to mistype it once and lock yourself out of your
own account!
